Glucomannan (Konjac) fibre produces amazing weight loss results

A 16 week study reported that glucomannan (konjac) fibre can aid weight loss even without altering your diet or exercise routine. The subjects were told not to change anything regarding their diet or exercise routine. The only change they made was to take one quarter teaspoon of glucomannan fibre (or 1 gram) in a glass of water and drink it 30 minutes before a meal. At the end of the study, the subjects taking the glucomannan fibre lost 4.92 kg on average compared to 0.79 kg in the control group. The people taking glucomannan also reported reduced hunger. The reasons for this are simple. Soluble fibre produces bulk, and slows food digestion.
