The Science Behind the ZERO Range
-
Konjac & Glucomannan Research
Konjac flour is a key ingredient used throughout the ZERO range.
Derived from the root of the Konjac plant, Konjac flour is naturally rich in glucomannan, a soluble dietary fibre that has been extensively researched for its potential role in supporting digestive health, healthy cholesterol levels, blood glucose management and feelings of fullness.
Our original Konjac Noodles, Rice, Fettuccine and Lasagna contain the highest proportion of Konjac flour, while our Low Carb Rice, Protein Rice and Protein Noodles also incorporate Konjac flour as part of carefully balanced ingredient blends designed to deliver different nutritional benefits.
The clinical studies below investigate glucomannan itself, often in concentrated forms or controlled research settings. The findings should not be interpreted as applying equally to every ZERO product, as ingredient composition and serving sizes differ across the range.
The information below is provided for educational purposes only. ZERO products are foods and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. If you have a medical condition or specific dietary requirements, please consult your healthcare professional before making significant dietary changes.

Important Information
The research listed above relates to glucomannan, the naturally occurring soluble fibre found in Konjac flour. Many of these studies used purified or concentrated glucomannan in controlled clinical settings and should not be interpreted as evidence that consuming any individual ZERO product will produce the same outcomes.
ZERO products are designed to be enjoyed as part of a healthy, balanced diet and active lifestyle.
